URBN Shop 543 Tapestry Commission

In November 2022, URBN commissioned a tapestry for Jharoka, their on-campus café. Abiding by the aesthetic that we as a team at URBN Shop 543 had already curated, I sourced fabric from my own remnants, as well as donation remnants from Anthropolpgie and Urban Outfitters, making it completely sustainable, as sustainability is a cornerstone for both the URBN brand and my own design ethics.
I went with a patchwork motif that incorporated the preexisting color palette for the café. It took about 20 hours in total to sew by machine.
I'm so thankful to have been commissioned for this project, to have my work up in the URBN space, and to have left my legacy on such a beautiful campus.
Below are progress pictures as well as the final project, now hanging proudly at Jharoka!
